Man, did we have a good time with Allison and Louis at their wedding in Memphis at the Metal Museum! But we already knew that would be the case. From when we first met we immediately gelled with their dry sense of humor, our shared priorities of travel and food, and their philosophy of working to live instead of living to work. They also were so selfless and wanted to make sure everyone else had an amazing time on their wedding day!
Every decision for their wedding seemed to be based on how it would effect their friends and family on their wedding day. They wanted everyone to just have a fun time! And that says a lot about these two. They give generously and first look for how they can help others. And this plays out in their relationship. They both want the other to be fulfilled in life. That is why they are an amazing team.
Our favorite part of the day was probably the Ketubah signing. You could see the emotion on Allison’s face throughout as it was the moment they were waiting for – to be husband and wife. We love Ketubah signings because of this intimacy. Only family and bridal party are involved, and the emotions tend to be just a little bit sweeter as the mood is more calm and reflective. It is an honor to always be a part of these ceremonies!
We could go on and on about the emotions of the parents during the ceremony, or the reception’s non-stop dancing, but, suffice it to say, it was a good day! Plus, why tell you everything when the photos can do the talking?!
