Yesterday started off our 2012 wedding season and what a way to start it out. We met us with Jennifer and D. Jay for their Day After Session / Elopement Session. They will be getting married later this year in a small civil service. As Jennifer told me when she first contacted me: “We had planned on getting married in a ceremony setting, but have decided to skip the stress and go to a courthouse. We want our love for each other to be seen through your lenses as we start our family together.” We loved that they skipped the stress and got straight to the fun part, the pictures!
As we thought about all the locations we would use for their session we knew that we had to make it perfect for them. We sat down with the couple and talked about their favorite things and how their relationship works with one another. Within the conversation D. Jay mentioned that his wedding band would be made out of gears, gears that actually moved within the ring. And that ring became the inspiration for part of their session locations, a bank vault.
Here is just a tiny look into their fun session. We could not be more excited for all the weddings we get to be a part of this year. Here’s to an amazing 2012 wedding season!
