WPPI Print Competition Awards: Accolades of Excellence {Memphis Wedding Photographers}
Since the beginning of our company Philip and I have worked really hard to create images that are unique, timeless, classic, and above all else, represent our individual clients. Our clients have written many thank you notes and expressed their love for their images. These means the world to us and spurs us on to work even harder for each of our clients.
One way we thought would keep us growing and working harder was to enter into an international print competition. We did this for many reasons. We wanted to see how our work stood up against other photographers internationally, we wanted technical judging on our images so we could see mistakes we were making, and we also wanted to see what technical and creative strengths we had. With the judging we learned a ton about our work. We saw our strengths and also weaknesses. We feel like we can now progress and serve our clients even better.
We are happy to announce that we received our scores from the WPPI Print Competition and our studio received 3 Accolades of Excellence. Since this was our first time entering the print competition we were nervous we would score poorly. Receiving 3 awards completely shocked us but we definitely welcome them. Below are our award winning images.

And one of our all time favorite first dance images, from Melanie and Julien’s wedding, received an Accolade of Excellence in the Wedding Photojournalism category.
