Stephanie and Trace : A Woodland Hills Wedding
I can’t help but get butterflies looking at this picture. Prayer before sharing a meal together is so important for Trace and I and has been for a long time. We thank God together before every meal we share and our rehearsal dinner was no exception! It meant so much to us for Trace’s dad to bless us and our families before the wedding day fun. I probably would have forgotten that Trace kissed my hand during his father’s prayer – but I’m so thankful I get to cherish this intimate moment forever. This picture shows the love we have for each other but also for The Lord and a desire to keep Him in our marriage.
I owe so much of who I am to these ladies in this picture. I have learned over time that blood doesn’t make people family – what my heart feels and the love I have for these women is what makes them my family. My sister is my first very best friend. We have so many memories together and even with the tragedy of losing our brother, we looked to each other to build each other up. I have my best friend from pre-k, another from 7th grade, two from high school, three more from college, and my two NEW sisters! I am so blessed and so grateful for all of these incredibly gorgeous bridesmaids, inside and out, and for their love leading up to the wedding day. I can never say “thank you” enough to these 10 women!
Although not very flattering, this has become one of my favorite pictures from the weekend. After 15 months of planning a wedding and finally saying “I Do” to the man of my dreams, this picture perfectly sums up my emotions. I was bursting with excitement. From the beginning of wedding planning, I said “if Trace shows up to the wedding, I will be the luckiest girl in the world. Everything else that goes right is a bonus.” Lucky for me, Trace showed up and now I’m married to the most caring, thoughtful, and selfless man I have ever met.
It was extremely important to me to have my brother as present as he possibly could be at our wedding. He died 15 years ago but I’ve always felt a close connection to him. I had a piece of his clothing sewed into my dress so I could keep him close to my heart on our wedding day. I also had a chair saved for him at the ceremony with his belongings on it. I could feel my brother’s love all day and that meant the world to me!
Here  is a look at Stephanie and Trace’s full wedding day!! We loved how excited everyone was for the day and that they couldn’t contain their joy for the couple!!
