Rob and Brooke : A Shelby Farms Elopement Session
We are excited to share with you all Rob and Brooke’s portraits! They eloped earlier this month in a private ceremony. They are intentional people and really wanted to make that time solely about the two of them. But they also wanted to make sure they documented this time in their life! So we met up with them a week later at Shelby Farms Park to capture some meaningful portraits for them. We had so much fun just hanging out with them!
Like Two Pieces of a Puzzle
When we met with Rob and Brooke, the one thing that stuck out most about them was they felt at home with one another. There was a comfort and peace that they share – as Rob put it, “We just click.” They both have a sarcastic sense of humor and are introverted (which we can relate to that!). And even when their personalities differ they are in sync! Brooke is a go-getter and resilient. She has been living on her own since she was 18 and, as Rob puts it, is always looking two steps ahead. Resilience requires foresight. Brooke, in everything she does, takes it on with diligence. It’s exactly these values that Rob admires most about her. He even said it is his motivation!
Supportive Laughter
Rob doesn’t just sit around while Brooke is going after life. Brooke even mentioned that Rob’s sense of humor keeps her grounded. He can talk about the most random things and still make her laugh. But Rob is really trying to recenter her – and he does it well! With a willingness to take on any load Brooke might have, he supports her and gives her strength to face whatever is in front of them. They have this beautiful chemistry where Brooke being that motivational energy for their relationship and Rob being that steady force for them to rely on.
We had such a great time with you, Brooke and Rob! We cannot wait to see what the future holds for you two! Oh and tell Stella and Meeku “Hi!” for us 🙂
