Wedding Inspiration – Bouquets & Boutonniere
There are few things more impactful at weddings than the bouquets and boutonnieres! So much care goes into these arrangements, and, if done right, they can convey the entire vision of your wedding. Over the past couple of years we have seen some killer arrangements that just oozed the personality of the couple! Below are some of our favorites for every style seen in southern weddings!
Leah and Matt wanted to bring the outdoors indoors for their ceremony at Temple Israel. Leah’s whimsical bouquet had the softest of pale pink roses complimented the deep greens of succulents. Matt’s boutonnière tied into these theme using the succulents to add a sharper texture that made it extra masculine. Michael with Lynn Doyle Flowers did a great job executing their vision!
Theresa wanted to celebrate her family through her bouquet by using the Lily of the Valley flowers she used to pick from her parent’s yard as a little girl. This simple, delicate flower went perfectly with their rustic wedding!
For their bridesmaids and groomsmen, Theresa and Josh wanted to bring in the fall colors that surrounded their wedding September wedding already! We love that they used totally different arrangements for their bridal party to show a showcase their unique arrangements as the couple. Plus the eucalyptus smelled amazing!
Sam embraced the cascading bouquet in all its glory – full of eucalyptus and pops of red roses! The bridesmaids had a tamer, yet equally stunning bouquet. We love Alex’s boutonnière and how it skipped any flowers for the more masculine, earthy berries and greenery.
Stephanie and Trace’s wedding was all about elegance. The hints of gold in the bouquets tied in with the bridesmaids dresses and Stephanie’s belt on her bridal gown while Trace’s boutonnière is the epitome of understated class. Ashlye McCormick really executed their vision!
Kelly and Zach above and Susie and Dan below both wanted a classic, all white feel! Kelly, using L and Jay Productions, went with a tighter arrangement that has such a beautiful shape while Susie’s free spirit matched her more open bouquet done by Ashlye McCormick. Both grooms went for a single flower, which always looks stunning.
As you can see the cascading bouquet is quite popular, and for good reason! Tracy embraced this with her beautiful, all-white bouquet by Deedra Stone with orchids and roses that matched the black-tie affair. Larry’s boutonnière equaled the bouquets with dual, white flowers that popped off his tux.
This spring wedding was celebrated with the pastels and light greenery throughout! We especially love how the flowers contrast with the deep blue colors of the dresses and ties. Kim and Clay trusted Deedra Stone to do their florals and for good reason!
Can anyone say Fall?! Brittany’s bouquet by Ashlye McCormick was so warm and inviting with the sunflowers and deep colored roses. And the men kept it subtle with just a hint of color so as not to distract from their classy suits!
Each and Brent had a summer, rustic farm wedding and the pastel peonies, pink roses, and bright hydrangeas all lent themselves to the feel of their wedding. Brent’s boutonnière with a single rose wrapped in twine added that extra layer of detail for their rustic southern wedding!
The complexity of Gina’s bouquet can entertain for days thanks to its art deco inspiration! The many colors and textures are stunning and the hanging Amaranthus added so much. Ben’s boutonnière tied in so nicely to this theme as well! We were really impressed with Southern Event Planners arrangements!
With Andreana and Anthony’s florals done by L and Jay Productions, we continue the white and soft pastel arrangements! Andreana’s bouquet is such a modern classic, the men’s boutonnieres continued this theme with the single rose on a pedestal, and the addition of Dusty Miller for the bridesmaids gave that extra texture that mimicked their soft dresses.
When you have a more formal wedding it is important to keep the flowers cohesive and classic. Madison and Kevin nailed this with there arrangements by Sandy Rhea Designs! An homage to their Spring wedding, they kept the soft, light pinks and oranges to pop off the modern white textures throughout all the arrangements.
The contrasts in Lillie and Zach’s wedding were just amazing! Choosing a less celebrated Fall color, the maroon colors brought such a striking visual to these arrangements by Anna’s Flowers!
Regardless of your wedding inspiration, there are such talented florist in Memphis, TN to make it happen! We love each of these designers, and these couples really showcased their personalities with their bouquets and boutonnieres.
Cheers!
