Over the years we have photographed a lot of amazing couples that put their heart and soul into their weddings! Whether it was a grand venue or the smallest details, the personalities of the couples come out in the things their cared about most. And one detail that always is a special choice is the dress!

Today we wanted to share some of our favorite dresses we have seen in the past year or two! Dresses for every season, from small, intimate weddings to large celebrations – all of these beautiful dresses and brides show a glimpse of the latest fashions for Memphis weddings. Lace, open backs, delicate details. While a strapless dresses are always in style, sleeves and straps with intricate details have been a big hit this past year and for good reason! It was hard to narrow this all down but here are just a few of our favorite dresses!

Naila wore a sleeved dress for the winter, with detailing to match her lovely henna. Plus that extra warmth from the fur shawl is a beautiful addition!

The rhinestone neckline on Cassondra’s beautiful gown brought an elegance to her day that was perfect!

While completely different styles, both Lindsey, with her strapless dress and beading, and Theresa, with her lacy sleeves, both celebrated classic looks for the Southern inspired weddings!

The bottom half of Stephanie’s gown was totally worth the trip to New York to find this stunning dress at Kleinfelds.

The soft lace and tulle neckline of Kim’s dress perfectly fit her personality.

The back of Kelly’s dress stole the show!

Laura had not one but two dresses! This shorter number was her reception dress and made it easy to dance the night away.

Madison chose a backless design that went perfect with her black-tie wedding!

Sam matched the elegance of her wedding with elegant lace detail throughout.

Melissa and EJ had a backyard wedding followed the next evening with a small reception and this custom short dress was 100% Melissa! And the train detached for when the party really got started.

Brittany and Tracy both got married at the beautiful Annesdale Mansion, but both found their unique way to celebrate the black-tie feel of their weddings through very different, equally stunning dresses!

Katherine, who is an architect, picked a gown that was structurally perfect and her getting ready location begged to be included in her portraits.

Andreana’s lace gown from Maggie Lousie fit her like and glove and her long veil complimented the gown so well! And Deloris had her dress custom made for her intimate ceremony.

Leah told us that one of the reasons she picked this specific gown was the skirt. The softest of tulles reminded her of fishing nets and all the trips she took with her dad fishing.

Gina’s dress had such a gorgeous back detail! And Kelly’s dress had such a beautiful beading on the front!

The sweetheart neckline on Devin’s gown showcased her delicate tattoo, a message of love to her groom.

Lillie’s dress had a striking dichotomy of strong, smooth detail on top with such a simply, yet stunning bottom that flared so perfectly!

The plunging neckline on Rachel’s down left us speechless.

Emily’s dress was all about how it moved as she walked – how can you not photograph that?!

We will be back soon with more Wedding Inspirations for Southern Brides!

Cheers!
